IZETTA WATSON COX

Mrs. Izetta Watson Cox 57 a native of New Harmony but a resident of Mt. Vernon for may years died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday at St. Marty's Hospital, Evansville.

 

She had been seriously ill since last December and entered the hospital from her home at 611 E. Water street where she and her son, Harold L. Cox, and family resided.

 

The body is at the Weisinger Funeral Home and will remain there through the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Weisinger chapel.  Rev. Billy H. Cato, pastor of Calvary Bible Church, of which the decreased was a devout member will be the officiating minister.  Mrs. Cox also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Owen Dunn post, No. 5.

 

The family request is for contributions to the Cancer Fund in lieu of floral offerings.

 

Surviving are two son, Harold L. Cox, city, and Arnold L. Cox, R. R. 1; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Walter Redman, Greenville, Tenn; and a brother, Athur Watson, Mt. Vernon.

 

The deceased was a daughter of the late Morrison Watson and Nora Page Watson of New Harmony.
