EDWARD V CRUNK

The body of Edward V. Crunk, 65, a native of Posey county and a resident of Mt. Vernon for many years, reached Short-Niehaus Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon Tuesday evening.

 

Mr. Crunk died July 11 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Roseburg, Ore., where he had been a patient for a number of years.  He was a veteran of World War I.

 

Friends may call at Short-Niehaus chapel between 7 and 9 o'clock this evening.

 

A private funeral service with the immediate family and close relatives and friends in attendance will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Short-Niehaus chapel by Richard Beesley, student pastor of First Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery.

 

The deceased was born and reared in Marrs township and was a son of William D. Crunk and Emma Thompson Crunk.  Nearest survivors are a brother, Kenneth A. Crunk, Indianapolis and an aunt, Miss Eva Crunk, Mt. Vernon,
