MRS ELVA NORMAN DAUSMAN

Mrs Elva Norman Dausman, 58, wife of Fred P Dausman, 814 East Fourth street succumbed to a long illness at 3:25 a.m. today in St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.

 

 She entered the hospital yesterday from her home.

 

The deceased was the wife of Fred P. Dausman, custodian of Riley grade school and Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church.

 

The body is at the Short-Niehaus Funeral Home where friends may call beginning this evening.  It will remain in the funeral home chapel until it is taken to Trinity Church of Christ the deceased was a member, for the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.  Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery.  Rev. August E. Binder, Trinity pastor will be the officiating clergyman.

 

Mrs. Dausman was a life-long resident of South Posey county and a daughter of William A. Norman and Alwina Benner Norman.

 

Surviving in addition to the husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Stanford Beavins and Mrs. John E. Banks, both of Mt. Vernon and both operators at the Mt. Vernon exchange of Indiana Bell Telephone Co; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Jourdan and Mrs. William Basham, both of Indianapolis, and three brothers, Herschel and Malcolm Norman, Evansville, and Herman Norman, Posey county.
