MRS OMA NESLER DENBO

Mrs. Oma Nesler Denbo, 72, a resident of Black township and a resident of Black township and Posey county virtually her entire life, died at 10:30  a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emil Kanzler, 1806 North St. James street, Evansville.

 

Mrs. Denbo had resided with the daughter for the last two years.  She had been ill for the last six months and twice was hospitalized during that period in an Evansville hospital.

 

The body has been brought to Short-Niehaus Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon but funeral arrangements were incomplete early this afternoon.

 

Mrs. Denbo was a native of Black township.  Her parents were Henry Nesler and Mary Elizabeth Phelps Nesler.

 

For many years she resided in the Upton vicinity and was a member of Welborn Methodist Church there.  In recent years she had been a member of Mt. Vernon General Baptist Church.

 

Surviving are two sons, Garland, R. R. 3, and robert, Phoenix, Ariz; the daughter, Mrs. Kanzler; three grandchildren and one great grandchild and a brother, William Nesler, Mt. Vernon.
