DICKSON FUNERAL WILL BE SUNDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Dickson, 50, of 413 Mill street, wife of W. H. Dickson, Mt. Vernon agent for the Railway Express Co., whose body was found in the Ohio river at the foot of Wolflin street yesterday afternoon will be held at the Church of Christ Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rites will be in charge of Brother Layton Hall of the Church of Christ at Henderson, Ky. The body will then be taken to Wildersville, Tenn., for a short service at 2 p.m. Monday and burial will be in Sellers cemetery near Huntington, Tenn.

Mrs. Dickson is believed to have entered the Ohio river shortly before noon yesterday. Her clothes were found on the river bank about 150 yards above the place where the body was recovered. All efforts of the Mt. Vernon Fire Department and a local physician with the aid of the Fire Department resuscitator were in vain.

Acting Coroner Ernest Cross was summoned but could not be reached this morning to ascertain if a verdict had been returned.

The deceased came here with her family 11 1⁄2 years ago from Martin, Tenn. She often assisted her husband at the express company office. Mrs. Dickson was an active and devout lifelong member of the Church of Christ and also was a member of the Mt. Vernon Business and Professional Women's club.

Near surviving relatives are the husband; a daughter; Mrs. Charles A. Hames, Mt. Vernon; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tilson, Wildersville, Tenn; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Ann Brandon, Wildersville; a brother, Joseph B. Tilson, Lexington, Tenn., and two grand children.

The body will remain at the Short Funeral Home until the hour of funeral service tomorrow at the Church of Christ.
