KATE BINGEMER DOLL

Mrs. Kate Bingemer Doll, 86, widow of Adam F. Doll and a Poseyville resident most of her life, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday (23 Oct 1954) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wade G. Hunter, 804 S. Harlan Avenue, Evansville.

 

Mr. Doll, the husband, a prominent Robb township farmer died 31 years ago.  For the last 27 years Mrs. Doll had resided with her son in law and daugher, Dr. and Mrs. Wade G. Hunter.  Dr. Hunter practiced his veterinary profession in Mt. Vernon before locating in Evansville.

 

The funeral service was conducted this afternoon at the Boone Funeral Home in Evansville.  Burial was in Poseyville cemetery.

 

The officiating clergyman was Rev. Carl Scherzer, chaplain of Deaconess Hospital in Evansville and a neighbor of Mrs. Doll and the Hunter family.

 

Surviving in addition to the daughter, are a son, Lawrence J. Hunter, Poseyville, and two grandsons.

 

The deceased was a member of the Methodist Temple in Evansville and Poseyville chapter.  Order of Eastern Star.  Her parents were Fred and Katherine Binemer.
