MRS MARY (MOLLY) FUHRER FINNEY

Mrs Mary (Molly) Fuhrer Finney, 85, Indianapolis, a native of Mt. Vernon and a diabetic patient at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for the last 11 years died recently.

 

Funeral and burial rites were conducted at the Flanner & Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary and at Crown Hill cemetery in the Hoosier capital city.

 

A favorite of doctors and nurses, Mrs. Finney often helped inspire confidence in other diabetic patients with her cheery outlook on life.  The Indianapolis Star said.  Both her legs had been amputated.

 

The late deceased and her husband moved to Indianapolis in 1915.  Mr. Finney was an express agent with office at the Mt. Vernon, Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad station for a number of years.  He died 16 years ago.

 

Survivors of Mrs. Finney include two sons, Paul W. Finney, Indianapolis, and Robert A Finney, Humbolldt. Kan; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Olive G. Springer, San Bernardino, Calif.
