"The community was saddened on Saturday by the death of W. W. Fisher, at Welborn-Walker hospital.

 

......had been in ill health, the past ...... and retired from the grocery business after serving the community for the past 23 years, the ......... the year on account of his poor health.

 

He was the son of Elizabeth and Jacob Fisher and had been a ....... resident of this community.

 

He was born Jan. 9, 1878 and passed away June 19, 1943, aged 65 years, 5 months and 11 days.

 

He was united in marriage to Miss Myrtle Papers, Dec 10, 1908, who survives him. Having no children of their own they shared their home with two girls who are now Mrs. Loren Rachels and Mrs. Walter Hill both of Evansville. He is also survived by 3 nieces, Mrs. Laurel Welch, Mrs. Logan Greene Mrs. M. L. Cox.

 

Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church, Monday afternoon by Rev. Skelton of New Harmony. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.

Froelich, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Snodgrass of Evansville, Ind., Mr. and Mrs Sam LaRoe and son of Henderson, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ashworth of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sturgis, Mrs. ....? Warpenburg, John Erbacher and son of Poseyville, Mrs. Max Davidson and daughter of New Harmony, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stevens of Princeton, Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Antle of Poseyville, Mrs. Rufus Harmon of Johnson, Adolph Simmons, Maurice Nichols and Miss Ella Nehr of Princeton."
