MOTHER OF A LOCAL RESIDENT DIES THURSDAY

Mrs Hazel L Freeman, 54, of Evansville, the mother of a Mt. Vernon resident, died at 3:53 a.m. Thursday (28 May 1970) at Evansville Deaconess Hospital.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jane Sellers of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Gray and Mrs. Lloyd Allen of Cadiz, Ky; three brothers, Adolphus, Zan and Alfred Faughn of Cadiz, Ky; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel in Evansville.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
