ALFRED EDWARD GRADDY

Alfred Edward Graddy, a Point township farmer who would have been 54 years old today, died unexpectedly at his home at 7:40 a.m. Sunday (1 Dec 1957).  He was a life-long resident of Point township, a son of G. T. Graddy, extensive farmer in that locality, and Stella Gross Graddy.

 

Death was attributed to a coronary occlusion by coroner Ferrel J. Meinschein.  The deceased had been under medical care for some time.

 

The body is at Weisinger Funeral Home.

 

Rev. Paul E. Turner, pastor of Church of God Mission, will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Weisinger chap.  Burial will be in Welborn Church cemetery.

 

Surviving are the father; the wife, Mildred; two daughters, Ethel Louise, 11 and Sue, 9 at home; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Vencient, Evergreen Park, Chicago; a half brother, Manuel Graddy, Mt. Vernon, and a step brother, William Hood, Chicago.
