LOUIS E GUTH

Louis E. Guth, 65, of 621 North Sixth avenue, Evansville, a farmer in the Caborn vicinity for many years but in recent years a resident of Evansville where he was a factory employee, died at 10:50 o'clock last night at Welborn Memorial Hospital in Evansville.

 

Carcinoma and heart condition were fatal.

 

The body has been brought to Short-Niehaus Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

 

Rev. Owen Endris, pastor of North Mt. Vernon Methodist Parish, will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday in short-Niehaus chapel.  (Burial was in Bellefontaine Cemetery.)

 

Survivors are the wife, nee Matilda Schreiber; three sons, Capt. Stanley Guth, Indiana State Police, Nashville, Ind., and russell and Gerald Guy, Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Edward A. Strupp, Jr., R. R. 1, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Malcolm Kessler, Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Harvey, Louisville, Ky., Elmer, Akron, Ohio, John, Lincoln City, Ind., and Arthur, Dale, Ind., and three sisters, Mrs. Sam Weller and Mrs. Jesse Kokomo,, Dale, In., and Mrs. Wally Zink, Dundedin, Fla.

 

The deceased was a native of Santa Claus, Ind.
