DEATH COMES TO 90 YEAR OLD MAN
YEAR UNKNOWN    (25 Oct 1952)

Peter Hahn, 90, prominent, retired Marrs township farmer who had spent his long life on the same farm on the St. Phillips road died there at
4:45 p.m. Saturday.

He was residing with a son, Joseph. Despite his advanced years he had been active until a month before his death.

The body is at the Alexander Funeral Home in
Evansville and will remain there until it is taken to Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church in Marrs township, of which the deceased was a member, on Tuesday morning.

Rev. Theodore Haas, Evansville Evangelical and Reformed Church pastor, will conduct the funeral service at
2 p.m. Tuesday at Salem. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Wife Died in 1949

The deceased's wife nee Caroline Hauschild, died in 1949.

Mr. Hahn is survived by three sons, Joseph, Marrs township, Carl, Mt Vernon, and Elmer,
Evansville; a daughter, Mrs. William Boerner, R. R. 1 Mt. Vernon; 10 grandchildren and 11 great - grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. John Oeth, Evansville.

His parents were Adam and Caroline Hahn, early residents of Marrs township.
