ISAAC H HESTER

Isaac H Hester, 51, died suddenly at his home at 225 East Second street in
Mt. Vernon at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday (18 May 1954).

He was a farmer in the
Griffin vicinity for many years but moved to Mt. Vernon when his health failed.

Death was the result of a coronary condition.  Mr. Hester was stricken as he sat on the porch of his home and died a few minutes after entering the house.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete late this morning.  The body will be returned to the family residence late this afternoon from the Weisinger Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at the
Upper Hills Church near Griffin and burial will be in Bethsaida Church cemetery at Stewartsville.

Surviving are the wife, nee Dorothy Jolly; eight children, Robert, Ruth, Kenneth, Samuel, Donald, James, Linda and Gary; five grandchildren; two brothers, Leo, Griffin, and John, Mt. Vernon food merchant, and three sisters, Mrs. Oma Breeze, R. R. 5 Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Nellis Stallings, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Emma Goldman, Griffin.
