GEORGE HUBER

George Huber, 81, a well known Robinson township retired farmer, died at 7:30 a.m. today at his home on R. R. 1 Wadesville after failing health of several years and serious illness of the last three weeks.

 

He was a life-long resident of Robinson township and was a son of George Huber and Barbara Hahn Huber.  His wife, Carrie, is deceased.

 

The body is at the Short-Niehaus Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, but the time of the funeral had not been set at noon today. The funeral service will be conducted in the Short-Niehaus chapel by Rev. Armin Hosto, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church at Parker Settlement which Mr. Huber attended.  Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery at Evansville.

 

The deceased was a member of Blairsville lodge, No. 35, Degree of Honor Protective Ass'n.

 

Surviving are three sons, Oscar a former Mt. Vernon barber now residing at Toledo, Ohio.  Arthur C. Evansville and Clarence, R. R. 1 Wadesville, on grandchild and three great grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. George Daum, St. Philips, Mrs. Bertha Lohman and Mrs. August Roedel, Evansville, Mrs. Philip Neu, R. R. 2, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Jacob Reisinger, R. R. 1 Wadesville.
