72, widow of Henry Knopfmeier and a respected
lifelong resident of the
She had been ill of heart disease for the last three weeks. Mr. Knopfmeier was a devout member of Trinity Evangelical and
Reformed Church.
The body is at the Short-Niehaus Funeral Home and
will remain there until it is taken to
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Augusta Scherer, 703 W. Eighth street; two sons,
Arvin Knopfmeier, R. R. 1 and Arvil
Knopfmeier, 733 E. Fourth street; three
grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Uhde, 326 W.
Eight street and Herman Uhde, R. R. 4 and a sister,
Mrs. Bertha Kroeger, Evansville.
