CARRIE J HUCK MARTIN

Mrs. Carrie J. Huck Martin, 39, wife of George P. Martin, a truck farmer and oilfield equipment maintenance man residing south of St. Philips, died at 3:45 o'clock this morning at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.  She had been ill for several years.

 

The body is at the Alexander Funeral Home in Evansville and will remain there through the funeral service set  for 2 p.m. Friday in Alexander chapel.  Burial will be in Tupman cemetery near Evansville.

 

The officiating minister will be Rev. W. R. Lathom, minister of St. Paul's Methodist church of Marrs township of which mts. Martin was a member.

 

Surviving in addition to the husband, are six daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Reynolds, Mrs. Alice Buslar, Miss Elsa Martin, Mrs. Mary Ann Moye and Mrs Lois Heberer, all of Evansville, and Mrs. Hazel Warren, Indianapolis; four sons, George P. Jr., and Walter E. Evansville, Robert F. a Mt. Vernon High school teacher, and Harold K. Fort Lewis, Wash; 12 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Fred Naab, Mrs henry Schmitt and Mrs Mary Shrode, Evansville, Mrs. Michael Schlafer, Tennyson, Ind., and Mrs. Edgar Morgan, Birmingham, Ala., and six brothers, Fredrick W. Huck, Gilbertsville, KY., Henry A Huck, Louisville, Ky., karl N. Huck, Fort Wayne, Ind., Theodore A. Huck, Bradenton, Fla and Edwin A and Victor H. Huck, both of Evansville.
