CONRAD MAUS

Conrad Maus - 64, a former resident of Mt. Vernon and an employee of the original Mt. Vernon Strawboard Co., died suddenly early Wednesday (19 Oct 1955) at his home in West Monroe, La.

 

Mr. Maus had been superintendent of a paper mill in West Monroe for a number of years.

 

The funeral service was conducted this morning in First Baptist Church in West Monroe, of which Mr. Maus was a devout member.  Burial was in a West Monroe cemetery.

 

Surviving are the wife, nee Pearl Floyd; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Perrine; two grandchildren; a half-brother, Herb Maus, Spring Hill, La., and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Wilford Gross and Richard Floyd, Mt. Vernon, niece and nephew of Mrs. Maus, are in West Monroe to attend the funeral.
