Former Resident, Dies in Evansville:
Beulah L. Mewshaw,
74, of Evansville, and a native of Mt. Vernon died Tuesday (6 Sep
1966) at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville.
(Her husband James Mewshaw
died 17 years ago, 25
Feb 1949.
His body was sent to Baltimore,
MD
for burial.)
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Evansville and for several years she operated the parking
center in that city.
Her parents were Jesse and Mary Ellen Ghormley.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Fred H. Wilbern,
Mt. Vernon, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Evansville, Thursday at 2 pm. The Rev. William Gorton will officiate
and burial will be in Bellefontaine.
(She is buried with her sister,
Belle G Wilbern.)
