AUGUST C NIEDERMEIER

August C. Niedermeier, 64, a successful farmer and well known Marrs township resident, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday (20 May 1957) at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

He entered the hospital Monday from his home on R. R. 1 Mt. Vernon, after apparently suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.  An autopsy was schedule at the hospital today to determine the cause of death.

 

The body has been brought to Weisinger Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon where friends my call after 7 o'clock this evening.

 

 It will remain in Weisinger chapel until noon Saturday when it will be taken to Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed Church in Marrs Center, of which the deceased was a devout member, for the funeral service at 2p.m. Saturday.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Rev. Robert M. Dohm, Immanuel Church pastor, will conduct the services.

 

 Surviving are the wife, nee Lorena Kleinschmidt whose marriage to Mr. Niedermeier took place in 1920; three sons, Arthur C; Albert F; and Paul A; all of R.R. 1, Mt. Vernon, and two brothers, Fred E. Evansville, and Henry, Mt. Vernon.

 

The deceased was a native of Robinson township.  His parents, August Niedermeier and Mary Droege Niedermeier, were representatives of well-known Robinson families.
