Mrs. Carrie Bunch Pearcy, 61, wife of
Rev. Neal Pearcy, a retired General Baptist minister
and former Posey county pastor, died at 5 a.m. today at her home in Dixon, Ky.
She was the mother of Mrs. Warren Kishline,
Jr., Mt. Vernon, a Jeffries school teacher, who had been
at her mother's bedside since last Thursday. Mrs. Pearcy
had been ill for six years and bedfast for the last three years. Her
husband who is a former pastor of Bethesda General Baptist Church at Savah,
retired from the ministry because of her illness.
The body is at
the Tapp Funeral Home in Dixon where Dr. Otis Chapman, president of Oakland City College, will conduct the funeral service at 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in a Dixon cemetery. The deceased was a
native of the Dixon vicinity.
