Lawrence Ramsey, 75, who was born and spent his boyhood northeast
of Mt. Vernon on the Tile Factory road a short distance from Mt. Vernon, died
last night in Christopher, Ill., local relatives have been advised. He
was a retired Christopher banker.
Funeral and burial rites will be in Christopher on Sunday.
As a boy the deceased attended former Central grade school in
Surviving are
the wife, Ethel; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Clark, Mrs
Nora Russell and Mrs. Grace Clark all of Christopher; two brothers, Oral,
