Robert Allen Reed, 53, a native of Mt. Vernon, Ind., and a
resident of Yuma, Ariz., for 19 years, died Sunday (19 May 1957) at his farm home near Yuma Johnson Mortuary at Yuma
has advised The Democrat.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. C. E. Miller in Johnson
Mortuary chapel yesterday afternoon. Burial was in

the wife, Sylvia E. Reed; two daughters, Mrs. Alberta Smith, Somerton, Ariz; and Mrs. Robert Reed, Yuma; two sons, Edward,
Dudley, Mo; and Norman, Chicago; three brothers, Oscar, St. Louis,
Walter, Tucson, Ariz; and William, Manila, Ark; two
sisters, Mrs. Martha Brown, East St. Lois and Mrs. Lena Thornton, Mt. Vernon,
Ind., and nine grandchildren, Jesse G. Reed, local barber, is a cousin of the
deceased.
