Mrs. Elizabeth Witt Renschler, 79, of
She had been a patient in the hospital for the last four weeks
after suffering a broken hip in a fall from her bed at her home. Her health had
failed in recent months.
A native of Vanderburgh county, a
daughter of Joseph Witt and Christina Hufnagel Witt,
the deceased and her husband resided in
The body of Mrs. Renschler is at Weisinger Funeral Home where friends may call after
Mrs. Renschler was a confirmant
of Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church in
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are a daughter, Mrs.
William Dempesmeier, R.R. 2; two sons, Oscar, Mt. Vernon, and Alfred, R.R. 2,;
five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary
Utley
and Mrs. Lula Williams, both of R.R. 2, and a brother, Henry Witt,
