Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Ann Fisher Rowe, 85, widow of
Charles Rowe, Mt. Vernon building contractor, will be conducted
in Mt. Vernon this afternoon.
Mrs. Rowe died late Thursday (20 Sep 1956) at the home of her son, Harley F. Rowe, in Evansville.
Rev. R. E.
Carey, minister of First Church of God, Evansville, of which the deceased was a
member, will be the officiating clergyman. A service at 2 p.m. in Short-Niehaus
Funeral Home will precede burial in Bellefontaine cemetery. Pallbearers
will be Joe Quinn and George Elliott, Evansville, Grover Martin, Mt. Vernon, Charles robinson
and John Lairmer,New Harmony, and Kelly Atterbury,
Maunie, Ill.
