Funeral services will be conducted in Evansville Tuesday for a former Marrs
township woman, Mrs. Sarah Blair Rowe, 70, widow of Arthur Rowe, former Mt. Vernon post office clerk.
Mrs. Rowe died Friday (12
Mar 1955) at
the home of a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Crosby, LaHabrah, Calif. Another daugher
also survives, Mt. Thomas Swift - Evansville.
Rev. Charles Tyler, Evansville, will conduct the funeral service at the Alexander Funeral
Home chapel in Evansville at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Park
Lawn cemetery at Evansville.
Mr. and Mrs. Rowe purchased and resided on the former George David farm in Marrs township for a number of
years.
