AMELIA SCHAAF

Miss Amelia SCHAAF, 87, a former resident of Dale, In., who was well known in Posey county, died Wednesday (23 Nov 1955) at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Borcherding, in Cincinnati with whom she had lived for more then 20 years local relatives have been informed.

The funeral service will be at 2 pm. Sunday at Santa Claus Methodist Church near Dale, of which Miss Schaaf had been a member since childhood.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The deceased frequently visited in Posey county in the home of her late sister, Mrs. Jacob J. Bockstahler.  Last May, she visited three nieces in Mt. Vernon community, Mrs. Herman Benner, Mrs. Edward Roos and Mrs. Charles W. Schmidt, in addition to the sister, a brother Edward Schaaf, Dale, In., survives.
