Elvera K. "Vera" (Goebel) Schenk, 75,
of
Mrs. Schenk was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church and a life
member of VFW Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower gardening,
reading, canning green beans and playing cards. She was a 1949 graduate of
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edwin Schenk; two
daughters, Lisa Rathgeber of Evansville and Theresa
(Ed) Goebel of Mount Vernon, Ind.; and four sons, George, David, Ted (Tonya)
and Joseph Schenk and his companion, Effie, all of Evansville. Also surviving
Vera are one sister, Darlene Rendl; one brother,
Ronald Goebel and his wife, Linda, all of
