Albert C. Schmitt, 61, a World War I veteran and a brother of Mrs. Elijah Lawrence, Point township, with whom he formerly resided died at 9:10  o'clock last night in the Veterans Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

Mr. Schmitt returned to Louisville for residence about two months ago.  He entered the hospital three days prior to his death.

The body is at the Heady Southern Funeral Home in Louisville.  Requiem High Mass will be conducted Monday morning at St. Simon Judy Catholic Church in Louisville and burial will be in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery there.

Mt Schmitt's wife died several years ago,.  In addition to the sister, a brother, Henry, Jasper, Indiana survives.
