MRS CATHERINE STRATMANN SCHMITT

Mrs. Catherine Stratmann Schmitt 65, Jasper, Ind, a former Mt. Vernon resident, died Wednesday (13 Oct 1954) in the Jasper Memorial Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stratmann of the Mt. Vernon Community.

A solemn Requiem High Mass will be conducted at 9 am. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, of which she was a devout member.

Surviving in addition to the husband, Henry, are four daughters, Mrs. Ivo Horney, Cincinnati, and Roberta, Henrietta and Theresa Ann, Jasper; five sons, Jerome, Chicago, and Sylvester, Henry Jr., Ambrose and Leo, Jasper; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Kleeschulte and Miss Rose Stratmann, Mt. Vernon, and three brothers, Andrew P. Stratmann, Covington, Ky and Frank and ----- Stratmann, Evansville.
