MRS THELMA LOUISE SCHWINDEL

Mrs. Thelma Louise Schwindel, 31, wife of Walter G. Schwindel, a farmer on R. R. 5, Mt. Vernon, died at 6:05 a.m. today at her home after illness of two months.

 

She was a native of DeKoven, Ky., a daughter of Omer Bean and Mary Fleig Bean, and resided in Evansville prior to coming to the Mt. Vernon community 17 years ago.  She and Mr. Schwindel would have been married 15 years the coming February 16.

 

The body is at Short-Niehaus Funeral Home and will remain there until it is taken to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a member, for Requiem High Mass at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Father Raymond B. Smith, St. Matthew's Church pastor, will be the Mass celebrant.

 

Surviving in addition to the husband, are four children, Janice Lucille 11, Walter G Jr., 10, Dennis, 9, and James Marion 5; the father, Omer Bean, Kentucky; the mother, Mrs Mary Ellen Corley, Rome, Ind; three half-brother, Thomas, Douglas and an infant, and a half-sister, Lucille.
