LOUIS R SEXTON

Louis R. Sexton, 69, a well known Point township farmer and a resident on the same Hasting farm on Hasting lane for 45 years, died suddenly at his home at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday (20 Mar 1956).

 

Although he had been receiving medical treatment he had not be confined to his bed and was up and about yesterday morning.

 

The deceased was a native of Pope county, Ill.

 

The body is at Weisinger funeral Home and will remain there through the funeral service set for 2:30 p.m. Friday in Weisinger chapel.  Rev. Ernest E. Hopper, pastor of Mt. Vernon Church of the Nazarene will officiate.  Burial will be in Greathouse cemetery.

 

Surviving are the wife nee Chole Stockton; three sons, Melvin, R. R. 5, Fletcher, R. R. 2,  and John Punxsutawney, Pa; two daughters, Mrs. Reba Bauer, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Kenneth Duncan, R. R. 1, Uniontown, Ky; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. mary Dyer, Mt. Vernon, Ill. and Mrs. Sarah Rammage, Smithland, Ky, and a brother, William Sexton, Poseyville.
