ALMA ALDRICH SHUTZ

Death Sudden to Mrs. Estel Shutz 42, wife of Estel Schutz, a Servel employee died early last night a few minutes after entering St. Marys Hospital in Evansville from the Shutz home near Wadesville.

 

Mrs. Shutz, ill of a complication of diseases, was found unconscious from a cerebral hemorrhage in her home about 7 p.m. and rushed to the hospital.

 

She was a native of the Mt. Vernon vicinity and a life-long Posey county resident.  Her father Raymond Aldrich, resides in New Harmony and her mother, Mrs. Pearl Aldrich, lives in Carmi, Ill.

 

The body is at the Alexander Funeral Home in Evansville.  The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the alexander chapel and will be followed by burial in Tupman cemetery on Red Bank road in Vanderburgh county.

 

Survivors, in addition to the parents and husband, includ two son, Emory and Eugene, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Nadine Martin and Mrs. Bonnie Ray, of near Wadesville and Pearl Joyce and Ruby Shutz at home; five grandchildren; six brothers, Ermil, Guy, Ray and Sampson Aldrich, Posey county, Donald Aldrich, a recently discharged Korean War veteran, Texas, and Floyd Aldrich, Carmi; six sisters, Mrs. William Smith, New Harmony, Mrs. Robert Penrod, Mrs. Louis Douthitt, Mrs. Harold Crayne and Mrs. Adrian Brooks, Carmi, and Mrs. Henry Harger, Mt. Vernon, and three half-brothers, Morris Aldrich, Mt. Vernon, Ervil Aldrich, Delphi, Ind., and Ivan Aldrich, Hammond, Ind.
