Father Raymond B. Smith, pastor of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in
She was the widow of Bernard Smith, who died in 1929. For
the last 11 years she had been the housekeeper for her son, Father, Smith, and
had resided in
A coronary condition was fatal, Mrs. Smith
was hospitalized at St. Mary's from Oct 29 to Nov 12 and then returned to St.
Matthew's Church rectory here. Her condition worsened decidedly this week
and she re-entered St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday.
Surviving in addition to the son in Mt. Vernon, are two other
sons, Charles, Borden, In., and Elmer, Floyd Knobs, Ind;
two daughters, Mrs. Henry Koopman, Floyd Knobs, Ind.,
and Mrs. Earl Feagans, Montgomery, Ind., and
two brothers, Joseph Leuthart, Floyd Knobs, and Vollie Leuthart, Sellersburg,
Ind.
