WALTER STEIN

Walter Stein, 86, for many years a farmer residing northeast of Mt. Vernon, died at Allison Nursing Home in Poseyville last night.  He had been a resident of the nursing home for nine years.

The deceased had never married.  The nearest surviving relative is a brother, Edward Stein, R.R. 2, Mt. Vernon.  The deceased's parents were Henry Stein and Mary Rein Stein.

The body is at Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville where Rev. Arthur C. Blackburn, retired General Baptist minister, will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday.  Burial will be in St. John's cemetery south of Oliver.
