Funeral services for Mrs. Regina Catherine Stratmann, 89, widow of Peter Stratmann, who died yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock in St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, will be held Tuesday.  

 

Solemn Requiem High Mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church and burial will follow in St. Matthew's cemetery.

 

Mrs. Stratmann fell at her home, 431 Canal street, a few days ago, suffering a fractured leg.  She had been in the hospital since that time.

 

She was a member of St. Matthew's Church, St. Ann's Altar Society of the church and a member of the Poor Soul's Societies of St. Matthew's and St. Phillips' Churches.

 

Near surviving relatives are three sons, Andrew of Covington, Ky., and Frank and Clent of Evansville, and three daughters, Mrs. Henry Schmitt, Jasper, Mrs. Fred Kleeschulte, R. R. 1, Mt. Vernon, and Miss Rose Stratmann, at home.

 

The body has been removed to the Short-Niehaus Funeral Home where friends may call tomorrow morning.

 

A Rosary service will be held at the Short-Niehaus chapel at 8 o'clock Sunday evening by St. Phillip's Church and on Monday evening at the same time and place a similar service will be in charge of St. Matthew's church.
