EDWARD A STRUPP

Edward A. Strupp, 74, a well known farmer on R. R. 1, Mt. Vernon, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday (16 Mar 1957) at Boehne Hospital in Vanderburgh county where he had been a patient for a few days.

 

A native of Vanderburgh county, the deceased had resided east of Mt. Vernon for almost a half century.

 

The body is at Alexander Funeral Home in Evansville.

 

Rev. August E. Binder, pastor Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church in Mt. Vernon of which Mr. Strupp was a member, will conduct the funeral service in Alexander chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Burial will be in Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church cemetery in Marrs township.

 

Surviving are the wife, August Boerner Strupp; a daughter, Mrs. Carl J. Burgdorf, Evansville; two sons, Edward A. Jr., Mt. Vernon, and Edgar, at home; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Montgomery, Evansville, and Mrs. Elsie Farmer, California and three brothers, Oscar, Louis and Walter, all of Evansville.
