Arch Templeton, age in the early 70's, a native of Mt. Vernon but for many years a resident of Los Angeles, died today in a Los Angeles hospital.
The wife of the deceased is the former Nettie
Mann, Mt. Vernon, a sister of Mrs. Carl A. Weilbrenner, College avenue.
The Templetons have a daughter, Mrs. Mary Mahoney, who resides in Los Angeles. A sister of the late deceased
Miss Mary Templeton, Los Angeles, was an organist of reputation for many years. She
now resides n a Los Angeles nursing home.
Funeral and burial rites will be Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Mr. Templeton
was for many years a private detective employed by a large Los Angeles department store. His father was
Worth Templeton, at one time superintendent of the Posey county
home. The Templeton residence was on the site of the present First Methodist Church parsonage at 703 College Avenue. .
