He was a native of Enfield, Ill., and assumed the pastorate of Mt. Pleasant Church after a successful ministry at Omaha, Ill.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Omaha, Ill., General Baptist Church.  Burial will be at Enfield.  Officiating ministers will be Rev. O. R. Fuleher, Rev. Don Rister and Rev. James Carber.
