INDIANA ALLYN UTLEY

Funeral services for Mrs. Indiana Allyn Utley, 87, of 431 W. Fifth street, who died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Weisinger Funeral Home chapel.  Rev. Arthur Blackburn General Baptist retired minister, will officiate.  Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery.

 

The deceased is the daughter of the late Sidney Allyn and Ann Ellis Allyn, both of whom were well known in this community.  She was a life-long resident of Posey county, and lived near Farmersville until she moved to Mt. Vernon 25 years ago.  She has been a semi invalid for the past five years and seriously ill for six days.  She was a member of the Victoria Camp of Royal Neighbors and the Harrow Relief Corps.

 

Near Surviving relatives are a son, Erskine C. Utley, with whom she resided; three nephews, Sidney, Frank and Floyd Allyn of Rector, Ark., and two nieces, Mrs. Vernie Carpenter of Knobel, Ark., and Mrs. Charles A Holifield of Paragould, Ark.
