ERNEST E VINES

Ernest E. Vines, 67, well-known farmer of the Savah vicinity in West Lynn township, died at 1:30  a.m. today at his home after illness of almost a year and critical illness for the last several days.

 

He was a life-long Lynn township resident, a son of Wesley Vines and Nancy Ann Munsey Vines.

 

The body is at the Short-Niehaus Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Short-Niehaus chapel.  Burial will be in Beech Grove cemetery in West Lynn township.

 

The officiating clergyman will be Rev. Orville Oakley, Fort Branch, a former pastor of Bethesda General Baptist Church at Savah, of which the deceased was a member.

 

Surviving are the wife, nee Cloral Moit; two daughters Mrs Overton Mivchael, Evansville and Mrs. Wayne A. Patton, Mt. Vernon, Percy L Vines, Belfry, Ky., and a sister, Mrs. Elwood Werry, Shoshone, Idaho.
