36, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at his home. He was born Sept. 30, 1970, in
Evansville to Gary Stephen Yancy and Doris Ellen
Kirkpatrick.
Michael enjoyed photography and attended Ivy
Tech and was on the Dean's List.
He is survived by father, Gary Stephen Yancy, of Wadesville, Ind.; brother, Matthew A. Yancy, of Wadesville; stepmother, Donnetta
Yancy, of Wadesville; aunt, Nancy Nicholson, of
Cynthiana, Ind.; uncle, Malcom Yancy,
of Wadesville; aunt, Beverly Yancy, of Wadesville;
uncle, Glen Yancy, of Lynnville, Ind.; aunt, Jane Yancy, of Lynnville; Cheryl Bierman,
of Evansville and uncle, Greg Bierman, of Evansville.
He was preceded in death by mother, Doris Ellen Yancy; grandfather, George W. Yancy,
of Wadesville; grandmother, Elizabeth K. Yancy, of
Wadesville; grandfather, Curt Davenport, of Wadesville, and grandmother, Stella
Viola Davenport, of Wadesville.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Werry Funeral Home, Poseyville
Chapel, in Poseyville, Ind., with interment in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery in Poseyville. Visitation is 3 to 8
p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at Werry Funeral Home, Poseyville Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mount
Pleasant Cemetery in Poseyville.
