Descendants of Dr. George W. Overmeyer - born 1863 in Pulaski Co.
--- son of Irsrael, son of Philip (twin) going all the way back to John
George Obermayer. We have the family book published 1904-Overmyer
History & gGenalogy from 1680 to 1905. Geo.W. went to state
of Washington like book said......he had become a MD, married Carlota
Case of Muncie, Indiana. Some children were born in Covington and
then went again to Washington state and had more children and built the
first hospital in Raymond, Wa. Held many medical posts, etc. His
daughter, Sarah Overmeyer, is my children's grandmother.
George W. also was a member of the 1925 Washington State Legislature.
Would be interested in more family history.
