BARNETT CEMETERY/BARNETTSVILLE CEMETERY
Washington Twp. , Approx. 7650 ft. SW of NE corner W 1/2 NE 1/4, Sec. 29 T 13 N R 5 W. Located south of Pleasant Gardens and west on Big Walnut River. A Town Barnettsville used to be located there on a bluff overlooking the River. All that remains is a grown up cemetery and a trace of a raod.
There were a number of unmarked graves and fieldstone marked graves. This cemetery is badly overgrown with trees, and undergrowth. per Retha Pitts. date ?? Transcribed as written on Feb. 13, 1999 by Penni Lynch. Inscriptions copied also by William J. Boatright in 1956.
