Grimstead, Mary - Beverly

Mary F. Grimstead has brought suit against Beverly C. Grimstead for divorce. The complaint states that the fruits of their marriage are two children, Lawrence Grimstead and Edith Grimstead, aged 19 and 14 years respectively, the latter being an invalid; that the defendant in 1884 left the home and children and has been absent about 12 years/ that she was compelled to take boarders to and in making a living; that in Oct 1896, the defendant returned and mistreated the plaintiff and compelled her to leave her home; that he struck her; the plaintiff further charges that the defendant is an unfit person to have charge of the children and asks care of the daughter and judgment for $1000 alimony and $200 per annum for support also $100 for use in prosecuting the case in court. SA Hays is her attorney; the parties reside in Bainbridge.
