Ida S. Miller has brought suit in Putnam Circuit Court for divorce from Paris L. Miller. The parties were married April 9, 1895, and the complaint states that defendant treated her cruelty and that she left him June 1 and returned to her mother and that she returned to her husband at his solicitations in August but that he again began his cruelty, he threatened to kill her, etc. The parties live in Franklin Township and the plaintiff’s name was Ida S. Robinson – PO Colliver is her attorney. – kbz

Ida S Robinson Miller of Franklin Township has sued for divorce from Paris L. Miller. Ida complains that Paris treated her cruelly, threatened her life, etc. PO Colliver is the attorney for the plaintiff. – Notice – State of Indiana, Putnam County – in the Putnam Circuit Court September Term, 1896 – Ida S. Miller vs. Parris L. Miller Complaint No 5751. Now comes the Plaintiff by PO Colliver, her attorney and files her complaint herein, for divorce, together with an affidavit that said defendant, Parris L. Miller is a non-resident of the State of Indiana. Notice is therefore hereby given said Defendant, that unless he be and appear on the 2d day of the next Term of the Putnam Circuit Court said term beginning Sept 7, AD 1896 at the Courthouse in the city of Greencastle, said County and State and answer or demur to said complaint, the same will be heard and determined in his absence.
