Anna S. Roberts vs. Albert Roberts is the title of a suit for divorce filed
in the Putnam Circuit Court today by CB Case, attorney for the plaintiff. The
complaint states that the parties were married June 20, 1885 and lived together
until December 18, 1894. The charges are cruel and inhuman treatment of
plaintiff by defendant in striking with fists and threats of similar action
with a razor and a hatchet; and that he would sell the household furniture and
other acts of inhumanity. Failure to
provide is also charged.
