Adoption of Lillian Moore - Putnam

Lillian Moore, the little daughter of Mrs. Alta Moore who recently was given to a Bedford Italian couple by the authorities of the Indianapolis Orphan’s home, has been adopted by Mr. and Mrs. RF Davis.  When the Italian were taking the little girl to Bedford and while waiting here for a Monon train, the child was recognized by her mother. Mrs. Moore refused to allow the Italians to keep her daughter and took the matter before Judge Hughes. This morning Judge Hughes made out the papers giving the girl to Mr. and Mrs. Davis
