Notice ... is hereby given, that whereas on the 29th day of May 1837, a writ of domestic attachment was issued by me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace in and for Jackson Township, Putnam County, State of
Indiana, of the affidavit and at the suit of Joseph M. Hillis, against the goods and chattels of Hugh Shannon, Jr. late of said County, which was there afterwards to wit on the 2nd day of June 1837, returned by Wm.
M. Sanders, Constable of said Township, executed on one set of Smith's tools, consisting of bellows, anvil, vice, hammers & c.  I will on the 30th day of June 1837, at 2 o'clock PM at my office in Jackson Township,
proceed to hear & decide on the said case, when and where the said Hugh Shannon and all others concerned may attend, if they see proper.  Given under my hand & seal this 2d day of June, 1837.  David Barns, JP
