BRIDGES - family reunion - Putnam

The Bridges family reunion was held at the Community House in Fincastle Sunday being the children and grandchildren of Robert and Catherine Bridges, deceased, there being one great grandchild, daughter of William and Rachel McGaughey. There were 50 present. They all attended Sabbath school and church just across the street at the Universalist Church in the forenoon then went over to dinner at the Community House where there was a beautiful dinner spread. In the afternoon they enjoyed some good music on the piano and a social good time by all till later hour. Then they all gathered around the table again for a lunch and departed for their homes after a most pleasant day.
