Burleigh, Alfred - $60,000 land Omaha

21 years ago, John Burleigh’s brother, Alfred went to Omaha, Nebraska and invested $3,500 in a lot at the edge of the town. On the 8th of this month he sold the lot, now in the heart of the city and to which he had added $5,000 in improvements for $60,000.00
